Solenoid Dump Valve WRAS

The solenoid dump valve WRAS (part no. 511225) can be used in combination with the temperature sensor.
WRAS means that, the valve is tested and certified to meet the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme in the UK.

The dump valve can cool down the lamp if the temperature rises above the pre-alarm value.
As soon as the measured temperature rises above the pre-alarm value, the dump valve is activated. This creates water-side demand, allowing the UV-C lamp to cool down.
If this is not sufficient, the UV-C lamp will be switched off by software if the main alarm value is exceeded. The dump valve also remains active until the temperature is below the pre-alarm value again.

Default settings:

• Pre-alarm ≥ 35 degrees
• Main alarm ≥ 50 degrees
• Flush time 10 seconds
• Waiting time 30 seconds
